From the Philippines to Germany: Celebrating a Successful Graduation

A journey of dedication, education and international cooperation

We are delighted to celebrate a very special achievement: our students from the Sisters of Mary School Philippines have successfully completed their vocational training in Germany as Heilerziehungspflegehelferinnen (Care Assistants in Special Needs Education).

This graduation represents much more than the completion of a professional qualification. It is the result of commitment, perseverance and the successful cooperation of organizations in the Philippines and Germany.

From a Social Volunteer Year to Professional Training in Germany

The journey of the students began with their Social Volunteer Year in Germany, which was organized through GIED and PNSCA. This experience gave the participants the opportunity to gain valuable insights into social care, everyday life and professional work in Germany.

Following this initial experience, the next important step was to continue their professional development through vocational training in Germany.

Saisy Germany commissioned JHMCS to support the students with the necessary visa and residence permit processes for their vocational training. 

JHMCS also supported the legalization and processing of the training contracts through the Philippine Migrant Workers Office and POLO Frankfurt.

Through the cooperation of the different organizations involved, the students were able to take the next step in their professional journey and begin their vocational education in Germany.

A Journey That Required Commitment and Determination

Moving to another country, learning a new language, adapting to a different culture and completing professional training in a foreign education system is a significant challenge.

The students demonstrated great dedication throughout their training. They successfully combined their professional education with the experience of living and working in Germany.

Now, after successfully passing their final examinations, they can look back on an important milestone in their lives.
